Hey, I'm Heather. I'm 20 years old. I presently live in Cache Valley, Utah, where I was born and raised. I've lived here for my entire life--except for last year, when I went to away to school.
I spent my first year of college at UVU in Orem. I was majoring in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. I'm taking a break from school right now, but I plan on going back in the near future. But to Utah State this time. I'm an Aggie at heart.
I love a lot of things. I'm going to tell you about a few.
I guess I've always loved photography. But I just started to get serious about it in the last few months. I love natural light. Lens flare and I are friends. :) Taking pictures, capturing life's beautiful little moments, makes me happy. I love taking great pictures that lift others and help them to see how beautiful they are.
I also love designing. I love having a project I can invent something for. I love the challenge of meeting the client's requests. I love creating something beautiful from a white space. I love to stretch the limits-to play with color and layout to make something unique and amazing. It's so fun to make something out of nothing. And computers are my favorite medium.
Not to say that I don't appreciate other forms of art. I love painting, particularly in oils. And I ♥ drawing with charcoal. And pencil, sometimes.
I'm also a big fan of crafting--though I wouldn't always call it that. I like making pretty things out of fabric, buttons, beads, wood, vinyl, etc. So I'm always trying to learn how to make new things. :)
I ♥ baking as well. At this time, I'm aspiring to learn to make an amazing cupcake. I've got chocolate chip cookies and brownies covered. Not to sound conceited, but I think my chocolate chip cookies are pretty rockin'.
